Chat Commands

Command / Description

/gathercontrol → Opens the graphical GatherControl administration interface.
/gcontrol → Short alias for /gathercontrol.
/gather → Alternative command for opening GatherControl.

The available command names can be changed through the plugin configuration. The /gcontrol command always remains available.

Permissions

gathercontrol.admin – allows access to the GatherControl administration interface and all configuration options.
gathercontrol.use – allows a player to receive configured gathering bonuses when player permission mode is enabled.

Rust administrators automatically receive administration access and gathering benefits.

When player permission mode is disabled, gathering multipliers apply to all players.
When it is enabled, only players with gathercontrol.use, gathercontrol.admin, or Rust administrator status receive the configured gathering rates.

Usage

Grant administrators the gathercontrol.admin permission.
If gathering permission mode is enabled, grant eligible players the gathercontrol.use permission.
Enter /gathercontrol, /gcontrol, or /gather to open the graphical administration interface.

Set the global multiplier to establish the server-wide base gathering rate.
Configure source multipliers for harvesting, crops, pickups, quarries, excavators, and Survey Charges.
Use resource-group multipliers to adjust complete categories of materials.
Create an individual item override when a specific resource should use an exact multiplier.

The normal multiplier chain is:

Global Multiplier × Source Multiplier × Resource Group Multiplier

An individual item override replaces this combined calculation for the selected item.

Use the capacity controls to change how quickly trees, ore nodes, and corpses are depleted.
Open the container-loot section to configure stack multipliers for supported barrel and crate categories.
Airdrops, locked or hackable crates, Bradley crates, and helicopter crates are intentionally excluded.

Use the machine section to configure Mining Quarry and Giant Excavator processing speeds.
Select the vanilla core reset when all gathering rules, normal container-loot settings, and machine values should be restored to their original defaults.
