A Better Flight Experience for Every Pilot

Minicopter Control allows each player to personalize the handling of their aircraft. Sensitivity, damping, and automatic leveling assistance can be changed directly through a modern in-game interface. Multiple presets provide quick switching between stable, balanced, and highly responsive handling, while every value can be reset to the server defaults at any time.

Settings are stored individually and applied to approved minicopter prefabs at configurable intervals. Angular velocity limits protect the server from extreme configurations. Optional permission management, mount reminders, English and German language support, and Plugin Control Center embedding provide a valuable quality-of-life upgrade for casual, PvE, and flight-focused servers.

Features

  • Personal Minicopter flight profiles for individual players.
  • Adjustable pitch and roll sensitivity for smoother or more responsive handling.
  • Separate yaw sensitivity controls left and right rotation.
  • Configurable rotational damping reduces abrupt or unstable movements.
  • Auto-level assistance gently restores the Minicopter’s pitch and roll.
  • Limits excessive angular velocity to help prevent uncontrollable spinning.
  • Includes Calm, Normal, and Sport flight presets.
  • Players can fine-tune every control value in 5% increments.
  • Flight assistance can be enabled or disabled individually at any time.
  • Player settings are saved permanently and restored after reconnecting or restarting the server.
  • Optional reminder displays the current profile when mounting a Minicopter.
  • Configurable support for additional Minicopter prefab variants.
  • Optional permission system for public or restricted access.
  • English/German interface and Plugin Control Center embedding.

The permission requirement is disabled by default, allowing all players to use the plugin.
When permission access is enabled, players must receive minicoptercontrol.use.

Usage

Enter /mcon to open the personal flight-profile interface.
Enable Minicopter Control using the status button or /mcon on.
Choose Calm, Normal, or Sport as a starting profile.

Available adjustments:

Pitch / Roll → Controls how softly or directly the Minicopter responds when tilting.
Yaw → Controls rotation to the left and right.
Damping → Reduces abrupt rotations and unstable movement.
Auto-Level → Gently returns pitch and roll toward a level position.

Use the + and - buttons to adjust each setting in 5% increments.
Mount and fly a Minicopter normally; the selected assistance profile is applied automatically while the player is mounted.

The Calm preset provides high damping and stronger auto-level assistance for new pilots.
The Normal preset provides balanced assistance for everyday flight.
The Sport preset remains more responsive and closer to the vanilla flight experience.
Use /mcon off to return to completely unassisted Minicopter handling.
