Chat Commands

Command / Description

/planespawn → Displays the current availability and cooldown status of the aircraft respawn.
/planespawn refresh → Refreshes the aircraft option while the player is on the death screen.

The refresh command can only be used while the player is dead and viewing the available respawn locations.

Permissions

planespawn.use – allows players to select and use the aircraft respawn option.
planespawn.admin – grants access to aircraft respawn and bypasses its cooldown.

Rust administrators can also receive automatic access and cooldown exemption through the plugin configuration.

Usage

Grant eligible players the planespawn.use permission.
After dying, open the normal Rust respawn screen and select Planespawn from the available respawn locations.
The player respawns aboard a Cargo Plane approaching the island.

Wait until the on-screen message confirms that jumping is available.
Press SPACE to jump from the aircraft.
After leaving the aircraft, press SPACE again to deploy the supplied parachute.
Use the normal Rust movement controls to steer the parachute:

W → Steer forward.
A → Steer left.
S → Steer backward.
D → Steer right.

If the player does not jump before the aircraft reaches the opposite edge of the playable area, the plugin automatically ejects the player at a safe position inside the map.

Use /planespawn to check whether the aircraft respawn is ready or still on cooldown.
If the option does not appear after dying, use /planespawn refresh from the death screen to recreate it.
