WipeRaidProtector
Controlled Early-Wipe Protection for New and Returning Players
WipeRaidProtector gives players temporary raid protection after a wipe. Activation can require a minimum number of upgraded building blocks and tool cupboard authorization, ensuring protection is granted only to genuinely established bases. Team members can be synchronized automatically, while owner and NPC exceptions maintain fair damage behavior.
Protection status is shown through a compact HUD and stored persistently for the current wipe. Administrators can grant, remove, or globally stop protection and receive a dashboard showing duration, global state, active protected players, and usage statistics. Turret and SAM behavior, automatic wipe detection, optional permissions, and full Plugin Control Center embedding make the system transparent and flexible to manage.

Chat Commands
Command / Description
/prot → Displays the player’s current raid-protection status and remaining time.
/wrp → Opens the WipeRaidProtector administration interface.

Permissions
wiperaidprotector.admin – Grants access to the administration interface and protection-management commands.
The user must additionally be a Rust administrator. The permission alone does not grant access.
If the permission system is disabled, administrative functions remain available to Rust administrators without requiring the additional permission.
The /prot status command is available to regular players.
Usage
After a new wipe, a player must upgrade the configured number of non-twig building blocks within the same building. Once the requirement is reached, raid protection starts automatically.
By default, protection begins after five upgraded blocks and remains active for 180 minutes. Each player can trigger this automatic protection only once per wipe.
Protected structures are identified through Tool Cupboard authorization. If at least one authorized player has active protection, connected entities cannot be damaged by unauthorized attackers. The entity owner can still damage their own structures.
Team protection is synchronized automatically. When one member has active protection, the remaining members receive the same expiration time, using the earliest protection end within the team.
Players can enter /prot to check whether protection is active, expired, or unavailable. While standing inside a building-privilege area, an on-screen timer displays the remaining duration.
Administrators can use /wrp to review the current system state or toggle protection globally. The /protgive, /protremove, and /protstop commands provide direct control through chat.
